Job Description
JOB TITLE: Foreman
LOCATION: Job site

SUMMARY: Electricians Foreman, is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. Their duties include scheduling fellow Journeyman, Apprentices, and trade professionals to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeting expenses for Workers, supplies or tools and reviewing laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
• Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
• Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs
• Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and procedures
• Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
• Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials

MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years of experience as an electrician in the commercial construction industry
• Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a vast overall knowledge in the commercial electrical industry.

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma.
Special Skills Required: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook for email communication daily.

Description
JOB TITLE: Journeyman Electrician
LOCATION: Job site

SUMMARY: Journeyman Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in commercial buildings. Their duties include electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits and coordinating with team members to install light fixtures and other items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams
• Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers
• Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
• Use hand and power tools
• Adhere to state and local building regulations
• Complete work orders on time
• Create records of materials used
• Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs

MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 4 years of experience as in the commercial construction industry.
• Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a vast overall knowledge of the commercial electrical industry.

SUMMARY: Electricians Apprentice, is responsible for following direction from the job site Journeyman and Foreman. Their duties include installation of light fixtures and running electrical conduits and cable. Electrical conduit strapping and box installation etc. Essential Tools:
• Work boots and work pants
• Cordless Compact Drill
• Tool Belt
• Long Nose Pliers
• Linemen’s Pliers
• Philip Screwdriver
• Flat Head Screwdriver
• Wire Strippers
• Diagonal-Cutters
• Measure Tape

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Must have own electrical tools and transportation to and from work
• Must be eager to learn from others to move up in the company to eventually lead
• Must be willing to listen and take direction
• Must be on time every day, be courteous to clients and display a positive attitude

QUALIFICATION:

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for working with the owner to provide electrical estimates to the general contractors and customers. They are responsible for all aspects of the bid and qualification process. Duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks, compiling reports and making presentations to project leaders outlining upcoming projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project to be bid.
• Determining what factors of the job plans will influence the cost of a service or product.
• Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
• Creating labor estimates for any project.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
• Using bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.
• Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders.
• Compiling and recording actual costs.
• Scheduling the job, when awarded, to fit the current project schedule.
• Other estimation and project management duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years of experience as in the commercial construction industry.
• Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a vast overall knowledge of the commercial electrical industry.
• Must possess knowledge in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office and 1 Build electrical software.
• Positive outlook and able to follow direction.
